Gehlot seeks Rahul as Seva Dal in-charge

Chief minister Ashok Gehlot made a humble suggestion while wishing to see Rahul Gandhi as in-charge of Congress Seva Dal. He was speaking at a function organised by state Congress to remember late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on Friday in Jaipur.

Paying a rich tribute to Late Rajiv Gandhi, Mr Gehlot praised the former Prime Minister and portrayed him as a great visionary.
Wearing a distinctive Gandhian cap, Mr Gehlot recalled how late Gandhi galvanised Seva Dal under his leadership when he took over as in-charge of the Seva Dal.
The CM also referred Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s contribution in strengthening the Seva Dal.
“Agar Rahul Gandhi bhi Seva Dal ke in-charge bane to achha hoga, isse Seva Dal ko takat milegi (If Rahul Gandhi takes over as in-charge of Seva Dal, it will be good, it will empower the organisation), says Mr Gehlot.
