Four killed, 12 injured in Allahabad crude bomb blast

At least four people were killed and 12 others were injured in a crude bomb explosion in Allahabad on Wednesday afternoon.

Media reports said that the crude bombs exploded inside a garbage heap at around 4 p.m.

The incident took place in the Kareli area of Allahabad.

At the time of filing of this report, police and civil administration officials were quoted as saying that the exact number of casualties was still being verified.

Officials have described the explosions as being of low intensity.
