Former MP Jagan Mohan Reddy summoned over illegal mining

The Central Bureau of Investigation has asked Jagan Mohan Reddy to appear on Saturday to explain alleged links with illegal mining accused and former Karnataka minister, Gali Janardhana Reddy.

Janardhana Reddy was arrested in September for violation of multiple mining laws and corruption.

In one of several clarifications Jagan will have to make to the CBI to explain sources of his wealth, the former Kadapa MP must assure sleuths that he's didn't use a network of companies to mask investments in Janardhana's mines.

Jagan is currently being investigated for corruption
