Ex-CM’s officers get punishment postings in U.P.

UP chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday transferred 17 IAS officers, giving punishment postings to almost all officers who were posted in his predecessor Mayawati’s secretariat.

Mr Navneet Sehgal, one of the most powerful officers in the Mayawati regime, has been sent to the judicial board of revenue in Allahabad while his colleague Anil Sant has also been posted in the same place. Both the officers had been waitlisted since the formation of the new government in the state.
Kunwar Fateh Bahadur, former principal home secretary, has been posted in the religious endowment department while Mr Netram, principal secretary to Ms Mayawati, goes in the same capacity in the national integration department.
