Don't use Facebook to contact us: ULFA
The anti-talk faction of the United Liberation Font of Asom (ULFA) led by Paresh Baruah alias Paresh Asom on Monday cautioned against using Facebook as medium to communicate with the outfit.
The banned outfit has warned all its sympathizers not to use Facebook to contact or communicate with any of its members.
In a statement e-mailed to the media on Monday, ULFA central publicity secretary Joy Asom also clarified that opening a Facebook account is strictly prohibited and that none of the cadres including its commander-in-chief Paresh Asom has any account.
"The so called Facebook account of Paresh Asom is a fake one and it was created by the Indian Intelligence Bureau. An Assamese person based in Bengaluru, Bikash Kumar Das has been running the facebook account of Ulfa C-in-C," said the statement, while adding that all the 'netizens' are being betrayed by Bikash Kumar Das, who identified himself as a retired IAF personnel.
"We also suspect him of working on behalf of the IB. We hereby appeal all of you to not try to contact or communicate with the outfit through any facebook account ever," Joy said.
