Curfew in ujjain after violence

The temple town of Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh remained under curfew on Saturday and there was tension in the city after Friday night’s violent clash between two groups over the installation of a Ganesh idol and use of force by the police to bring the situation under control.

CBI registers case in Shehla Masood murder
Bhopal: The CB) on Saturday registered an FIR in the state capital and started investigations into the murder of RTI activist Shehla Masood, who was shot dead in broad day light on August 16.
The CBI office here confirmed on Saturday evening that a case has been registered under Section 302 of the IPC in the Shehla Murder case and they were now taking over the investigations in this case from the Bhopal Police. The Madhya Pradesh Government had written to the Union ministry of personnel and training to hand over this case to the CBI.
