Lucknow: neuro-surgeon from Allahabad district has made it to the Guinness Book of World Records for conducting an eight-hour surgery on an eight-year-old girl, who had nearly 300 cysts in her brain.

CBI registers case in Shehla Masood murder
Bhopal: The CB) on Saturday registered an FIR in the state capital and started investigations into the murder of RTI activist Shehla Masood, who was shot dead in broad day light on August 16.
The CBI office here confirmed on Saturday evening that a case has been registered under Section 302 of the IPC in the Shehla Murder case and they were now taking over the investigations in this case from the Bhopal Police. The Madhya Pradesh Government had written to the Union ministry of personnel and training to hand over this case to the CBI.
