Couple held for making hoax bomb call

A couple has been arrested for allegedly making a hoax bomb call to police control room, police said on Thursday.

The couple, who hailed from Tiruvottiyur, called up police control room on Wednesday claiming that a bomb would explode in Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's residence at Poes Garden here, they said.

Further investigations into the case are on, they added.
