Cops file chargesheet against Palande, Vora

The crime branch on Saturday filed a 160 page-chargesheet against alleged murderer Vijay Palande and stock broker Gautam Vora, in the case of Palande escaping from police custody. The chargesheet has named 20 public witnesses and eight police witnesses in the case.

ACP Arvind Mahabadi, who is investigating the case, said, “Vora has been chargesheeted for allegedly harbouring a crime, while Palande has been charged for escaping from custody.”
The crime branch had arrested Vora in April for aiding Palande.
