Constable forces woman to have sex, arrested

A Goa police constable was arrested and suspended from service on Saturday for forcing a woman rescued from prostitution to have oral sex with him while he was interrogating her, authorities said.

The incident happened on August 11 at Mapusa police station, 10 km from here.

Vishwavijay Digambar Parab was booked under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, a police spokesperson said.

"The girl's complaint was being verified by a state committee," the spokesperson said.
