Congress MLA offers his seat to Priyanka

Shiv Balak Pasi, the sitting Congress MLA from Salon in Rae Bareli, has offered to leave his seat for Ms Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

“I offer my seat to Priyankaji if she or any other member of the Gandhi family wishes to contest the coming polls. It is not me alone, any Congressman would willingly do the same for the family,” the MLA told reporters in Rae Bareli.
Interestingly, Salon happens to be a reserved seat and even if the MLA vacates his claim, there is no way that Ms Vadra can contest from there.
