Congress ministers may resign to work more party - Reports
In a fresh development, four senior ministers of Congress wrote to party President Sonia Gandhi asking her to relieve them of their posts and work for party, reports said on Tuesday.
If Sonia agrees to the move, it will surely lead to a major reshuffle in the Cabinet.
TV reports said Rural Development Minister Jairam Ramesh, Health and Family Welfare Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, Law & Justice and Minority Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid and Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi are the ones who wrote to party President.
The immediate reason behind the move is not known yet. There has been no official confirmation from the party yet, but sources confirm the latest development.
Meanwhile, Vayalar Ravi rejected the reports saying that he has not written any letter.
