Congress flags off sandesh yatra in jaipur

With state Assembly elections due in Rajasthan, the ruling Congress launched its “Sandesh Yatra” on Saturday from Jaipur amid slogans and aggressive speeches made by senior party leaders against the Opposition BJP.
Flagging off the yatra, chief minister Ashok Gehlot launched a scathing attack on the BJP and said the saffron leaders use divisive issues to garner support.

“The BJP is the party which used to raise communal issues and was involved in demolishing Babri Maszid,” Mr Ghelot said.
The Congress leaders highlighted development schemes and projects introduced by the government to woo the voters.
