Cong for more Rajasthan rallies

Enthused by a successful rally addressed by Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi in the tribal heartland, the Congress has geared up to organise a series of more such rallies and programmes.

Mr Gandhi is scheduled to address a rally in Baran on September 17 while UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi is likely to lay the foundation stone of an oil refinery on September 22 in Barmer.
According to sources, Prime minister Manmohan Singh will lay the foundation of Ajmer airport on September 20. Chief minister Ashok Gehlot will flag off the trial run of the Metro rail in Jaipur on September 18. Party sources said the organisation’s rank and file made active to make success all such rallies and gatherings.
