CBI starts evaluation of Jagan’s assets
`60 crores was allegedly spent on building Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy’s bungalow at Lotus Pond in Jubilee Hills and another `25 crores was spent on purchasing the land.
On Thursday, the Central Bureau of Investigation started evaluating the money spent on the purchase of land and construction of the bungalow by Mr Jaganmohan Reddy, his alleged benami companies or business partners who were allegedly given projects on a platter by the Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy government. Though the CBI officials did not divulge any valuation details, sources said that over `85 crores was spent to build the palatial bungalow on a total area of 5,807 square yards of land with a built-up area of 88,000 square feet. The cost includes the land value and interiors.
