CBI arrests suspect for dsp murder
The CBI on Saturday arrested Babloo Yadav, son of the slain village pradhan Nanhe Yadav, and claimed to have cracked the murder of deputy superintendent of police Zia-ul-Haq.
According to CBI sources, Babloo Yadav has confessed to having shot dead the DSP during the mob violence that erupted after his father’s murder in Walipur village on the night of March 2.
The mobile phone of the slain DSP has been recovered from the possession of Babloo Yadav, who had been missing after the March 2 incident and was later brought to Kunda from Allahabad by a CBI team.
The CBI has also recovered the weapon allegedly used in the DSP’s killing from Babloo.
