Businessman detained for grilling over Ajmer blast
An industrialist was detained for questioning in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh in the Ajmer dargah blast case by the Rajasthan anti-terrorist squad, the police here said Sunday.
Rajesh Mishra, also an accused in the murder of Congress leader Pyar Singh Nenama and currently on bail, was detained by the ATS from Pithampur, 225 km from here, late Saturday night. He is the fourth person in Madhya Pradesh picked by the Rajasthan ATS over the blast at the shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti in Ajmer in 2007, in which three persons were killed.
The Rajasthan anti-terrorist squad was keeping an eye on Mishra, who runs an engineering unit in the Pithampur industrial area of Dhar district, for the past seven months.
He was earlier questioned by a joint CBI-Rajasthan ATS team in October 2009 in the same blast case, but was let off after interrogation.
Earlier, Lokesh Sharma, 36, a resident of Indore, was picked up and detained by the Rajasthan ATS on May 14.
