age correspondent
Bhopal, Sept. 4
Senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader Murli Manohar Joshi on Sunday held the Congress-led UPA government squarely responsible for food inflation and said that failure on the government’s part to take corrective steps to control price and corruption would threaten democracy and destabilise the country.
He said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had wrongly patted his own back and had given himself the credit for insulating the country from the global economic crisis recently when he addressed the Parliament urging Anna Hazare to give up his fast against corruption.
