BPO girl gangraped

Moments after two young girls from the Northeast were dropped by their office cab near Nanakpura Gurdwara, which is close to the Dhaula Kuan roundabout on the natinal capital’s Ring Road, four unidentified men in a mini-tempo abducted one of the girls and gangraped her before throwing her out of their vehicle in Mangolpuri area.
The police said the incident took place at around 1.15 am on Wednesday when two girls, believed to be in their twenties and working with a multinational BPO based in Gurgaon, were dropped on the main road by their office cab.
The police had last year issued instructions to BPOs asking them to make sure that woman employees dropped after or during night shifts return to their houses safely but police officials claimed the victims were dropped at a “considerable” distance from their houses, making them vulnerable to crime.
