BJP worker hits K’taka minister with slipper

In a bizarre incident, housing minister and close confidante of former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, Mr V. Somanna, on Saturday found himself at the receiving end of a BJP worker’s anger when B.S. Prasad beat him with his

footwear at Vidhan Sabha. The incident occurred around 11.45 am when Mr Somanna came out of a meeting to review the performance of Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation at the Committee Room on the third floor of Vidhan Sabha, which is just 40 metres away from the chief minister’s chamber.
