BJP to support Ramdev

The BJP has announced its support to Baba Ramdev’s ongoing campaign against corruption.
In an informal chat with reporters here on Thursday, BJP president Nitin Gadkari said that “corruption” was a film being produced by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

“The Congress is adopting a double-faced policy on the issue of bringing back black money stashed abroad. 117 countries out of 140 countries are in the process of formulating laws to bring back black money but the UPA government is merely making a committee. In the national executive meeting of the BJP, we will bring a resolution on this issue and wage a decisive battle to check corruption,” Mr Gadkari said.
The BJP president, who inaugurated an exhibition highlighting the 100 scams of Mayawati regime, further pointed out that the “policy and intention” of the government on corruption was questionable.
“The CBI has turned into Congress Investigation Bureau and is being misused to ensure support from parties like SP and BSP,” he added.
