BJP, RSS meet to discuss anna’s stir

BJP top brass, including party chief Nitin Gadkari and senior leaders L.K. Advani and Sushma Swaraj, held deliberations with senior RSS leaders to chalk out strategy of how to put more pressure on the UPA government which is facing the heat of Anna Hazare’s anti-corruption campaign. The RSS, which

had condemned the “adamant tendency” of the UPA government against Anna Hazare, held a three-day-long “samanvaya baithak” (coordination meeting) of its senior leaders from across the country in Ujjain, which concluded on Friday. BJP top brass also attended the meeting. It could be mentioned that the BJP had demanded an explanation from Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over Hazare’s arrest.
Sources disclosed RSS top brass told BJP leadership how to further exploit the situation.
