BJP MLA attacks party leadership
The BJP’s move in Rajasthan before senior party leader L.K. Advani’s proposed Rath Yatra suffered an embarrassment when the party MLA Hanuman Beniwal launched an attack on the previous BJP government saying its ministers were indulged in corruption.
Mr Beniwal said that the Anti-Corruption Bureau [ACB] has a right to probe cases of corruption against the ministers with the previous BJP government, but the ACB can not go ahead without permission of the government and the present Congress government shows no interest in such cases. It was the third time when the BJP MLA went on public whit against the BJP leadership in the state.
State BJP president Arun Chaturvedi has sought a report from the party’s Bharatpur, Nagaur and Jodhpur units, where Mr Beniwal reportedly made serious allegations of the corruption against his own party leaders.
