Bachchans worth Rs 493.85cr

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan are together worth Rs 493.85 crores. Disclosures in the affidavit Ms Jaya Bachchan filed Saturday with her Rajya Sabha nomination papers shows Mr Bachchan has properties and investments worth Rs 402.21 crores, while Ms Bachchan has properties and investments totalling Rs 91.64 crores.

Ms Bachchan has gold jewellery, silver, silver articles and silver bars worth Rs 13.34 crores, while her husband has gold and silver worth Rs 26.23 crores.
Ms Bachchan owns two cars, a Qualis and a Lexus; while her husband owns nine vehicles, including a tractor. His other vehicles include a Qualis, Innova, Mercedes 350, Mahindra Scorpio, Rolls Royce, Mercedes 350L, Mahindra Bolero and a Porsche Cayman.
The couple own paintings worth Rs 4 crore.
Ms Bachchan has agricultural land at Hujur, Bhopal and Kakori (Lucknow), while her husband has agricultural land Dalulat-pur village in Barabanki and in Kakori (Lucknow).
