Athlete loses leg after being pushed off train

National-level volleyball player Sonu was thrown off a train near Bareilly on Wednesday when she tried to resist being eve-teased on the Padmavat Express.
The girl was thrown on the tracks and her leg was run over by another passing train.

The athlete’s leg had to be amputated and the girl is undergoing treatment in a local hospital.
The culprits are yet to be arrested while the condition of the girl is critical.
