Assam MLAs complain over 2 ministers

A group of Congress MLAs, which met Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Friday, has lodged formal complaints against Union minister Pawan Singh Ghatowar and state health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of hatching conspiracy allegedly to destabilise its own government headed by chief minister Tarun Gogoi in Assam.

Though the delegation of senior Congress MLAs led by former minister Anjan Dutta was tightlipped about the meeting with the Congress president, other members of the group, on condition of anonymity, told this newspaper that they apprised the Congress president about the high-handed behaviour of few ministers and party leaders.
The delegation of legislators was armed with newspaper clippings and other visual evidences, referred to several instances.
