India Inc goes gaga over Modi
The all-round praise for Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi by corporate India on Friday comes just after his third straight win in Assembly elections.
“Narendrabhai has the Arjuna-like clarity of vision. Narendrabhai literally is the lord of men, a leader among leaders and the king among kings,” said Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group chief Anil Ambani. He compared Mr Modi to two of Gujarat’s illustrious sons, Gandhiji and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
His elder brother, Mukesh Ambani committed further investment of `500 crore in Pandit Dindayal Upadhayay Petroleum University.
Former Tata group chairman Ratan Tata said, “Today when investors look for locations to make investments, they would be looking for locations which are investor-friendly. Gujarat stands out distinctly in the country.”
