Angry voters chase ministers away in U.P.
In what seems to be a new trend in UP politics, ministers are now being shooed away by angry voters in their respective constituencies for not doing developmental work.
On Tuesday, senior BSP minister Swami Prasad Maurya was booed and chased away in his constituency Kushinagar by angry mobs. Villagers in Bhiswa surrounded him and demanded to know why he had come there when he could not do any development of the area. A few days ago, BSP minister Jaiveer Singh was chased away by the crowds in Karhal in Mainpuri while campaigning. The villagers alleged the minister had not bothered to visit the constituency and did not undertake any developmental work in the past five years.
