‘Amused to see BJP wooing BSY’
Bengaluru:Â Congress party general secretary Digvijay Singh who was recently appointed in-charge of Karnataka, on Tuesday took a swipe at the BJP while reacting to the ongoing campaign by party leaders to reinduct former chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa in the saffron fold. The former Madhya Pradesh chief minister is on a visit to Karnataka after being made in-charge general secretary
"I am amused to see this development on Yeddyurappa. The party which took pride in taking action against those involved in corruption, is falling at the feet of the same corrupt elements. This is the way the BJP works and this clearly shows that it is deeply rooted in corruption", he remarked.
On the Telangana issue, the Congress leader said he had asked the AP chief minister to work out a roadmap keeping two options in mind one, bifurcation and the other a united AP.Â
Reacting to the battles between political leaders on the social media, Mr Singh said, "The kind of abusive language used by followers of the BJP and Sangh Parivar on social media is disgraceful. We in the Congress have to train our workers on how to react on the social media."
