Advani to avoid Chennai roads

Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani, who is arriving here on Wednesday on a two-day trip at the head of a 15-member Parliament committee, will be using a helicopter to visit the Kalpakkam atomic power station and Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited plant at Manali instead of driving by road to the two venues from his hotel, reliable sources said.

They said Mr Advani had originally planned to drive to the two inspection places along with his team members but changed his mind following a request from the security agencies.
