Advanced pilotless aircraft test successful
The advanced version of the Pilotless Target Aircraft (PTA) Lakshya-II was on Friday successfully flight-tested from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur, off the Bay of Bengal coast, in Orissa.
According to DRDO sources, the flight-test was carried out at around 11.20 am.
This was second successive successful test in the last three days. The flight demonstration was held from a mobile vehicle at launch complex-3 of the ITR.
“The flight test has been successful as desired,” informed S.K. Dash, director, the ITR.
