Activist shot dead in Bhopal

RTI activist and Anna Hazare supporter Shehla Masood was shot dead at point blank range at around 11.30 am by unidentified assailants as she got into her car outside her house in the Kohe-Fiza area to head for an anti-corruption rally here. Bhopal IGP Shailendra Shrivastava told this newspaper

that Shehla was killed on the spot. Her body was found in the driver’s seat. The IGP claimed there appeared to be no eyewitnesses and said the police had no clues on the assailants’ identity.
