Accidental shot likely killed pradhan KIN: CBI

The CBI team probing the triple murders in Pratapgarh district, including that of DSP Zia-ul-Haq, are now arriving at the conclusion that the death of the village pradhan Nanhe Yadav’s brother, Suresh Yadav, was caused by accidental firing.

The CBI, after examining eyewitness accounts that are backed by forensic and the autopsy report of the victim, has almost confirmed that Suresh Yadav was killed in accidental firing.
“After the village pradhan was declared dead at a local hospital, his body was taken home by his family. The police reached Walipur village to take the body into custody for the post mortem. When the police reached the village, Nanhe Yadav’s body was lying on a charpoy. His supporters lost their cool when they saw the police and refused to allow the cops to take the body,” said a CBI official.
Suresh Yadav, brother of the slain pradhan, is also a history sheeter and he targeted the DSP, blaming him for the village head’s murder.
