Aarushi parents challenge order

Aarushi Talwar’s dentist parents Rajesh and Nupur Talwar on Monday moved the Allahabad high court challenging the order of the CBI special judge in Ghaziabad making them accused in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder.

The Talwars’ lawyer, Ms Rebecca John, told this newspaper she had filed a criminal revision petition in the high court challenging the CBI court’s order summoning Aarushi’s parents on February 28. She refused to say anything further, saying the matter was sub judice.
The application is likely to come up before the high court on Wednesday.
On February 9, the CBI special court had taken note of evidence produced against the Talwars by the investigating agency and ordered they be made accused in the case.
