9 die in violence in rajasthan

Curfew has been imposed in Gopalpura (Kama) town under Bharatpur district on Wednesday following group clashes, arson and firing between the two groups. The violence claimed nine lives. Senior officials rushed to the spot and additional forces were dispatched to the troubled area to control the situation. Sources with the home department confirmed nine deaths.

According to the sources, the district administration has sought six companies of state constabulary while additional forces from nearby districts had been sent to Bharatpur. The tension was triggered when two groups indulged in stone-pelting on Wednesday in Gopal-pura.
