86 of top 100 JEE rankers pick IIT-Bombay

The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B) has once again become the recipient of the cream of students, who cleared the first round of interviews.

The declaration of the first list of 9,500 students, who were allocated seats across all the 15 IITs in the country has revealed that nearly 86 of the top 100 JEE rankers opted for IIT-B.
While students maintain that superior facilities, better pay packages at the end of the course and brand IIT-B prompted them to opt for Mumbai’s premier institution, officials said that their efforts to have the best faculty, infrastructure and facilities, has made the institute the most coveted among other IITs in the country.
