5-year-old rescued alive from collapsed building

A five-year old boy was rescued from the debris of the three-storey building at Chandni Mahal that collapsed on Tuesday, killing seven and injuring 25 people.

Five-year-old Amaan was rescued by the authorities and nobody else has been found in the debris of Katra Data Ram ki Haveli area near Jama Masjid that collapsed on Tuesday. “The deputy commissioner of the city zone will conduct the inquiry. The preliminary report of the inquiry will be submitted to the MCD commissioner by Wednesday,” MCD spokesperson Deep Mathur said.
