Visakhapatnam: Nearly 30 students of a college, including girls, had a miraculous escape after the over-speeding bus in which they were travelling lost control and overturned near Kondakarla Ava under Atchutapuram police station limits in the district, on Wednesday.
According to police, thirteen students were severely injured and were admitted at the government hospital in Anakapalle where their condition is said to be stable.
The bus, belonging to National Junior College, Munagapaka, was heading towards the college from the Uppavaram area of Atchutapuram, with around 30 students from the junior and senior Intermediate classes.
Sources said that the driver of the bus, who was speeding on narrow roads, lost control while overtaking another bus.
