21 cops involved in Jayalalithaa's personal security transferred

Twenty one policemen involved in the personal security of Chief Minister Jayalalithaa were transferred on Tuesday, police sources said.

They include 17 Sub-Inspectors and four head constables, they said.

The Chief Minister's personal security personnel are generally drawn from various districts in the state.

Though no reason was given for the shake up, it comes days after AIADMK expelled Jayalalithaa's former close aide Sasikala and her family members from the party for meddling in the administration.
