2 supplementary chargesheets?

The CBI is likely to file at least two supplementary chargesheets in the Ishrat Jahan fake encounter case. While the first supplementary chargesheet will be based on the agency’s investigations into the conspiracy which led to the encounter of Mumbai-based teenager, the second one will give details of the CBI’s probe into the tapes carrying the purported conversations of the Gujarat government officials discussing ways and means to save the accused cops, sources said.

According to sources, the agency’s probe into the conspiracy which led to the fake encounter of Ishrat Jahan and three others — Javed Sheikh, alias Pranesh Pillai, Amjadali Akbarali Rana and Jishan Johar — on June 15, 2004, is almost complete. The agency is expected to file its first supplementary chargesheet by the end of this month.
“Agency has sufficient evidence which prove that Ishrat and three others were abducted by the Gujarat police from Vasad toll booth a few days before the encounter. They were killed in custody by the accused Gujarat cops,” sources said.
The second supplementary chargesheet, expected to be filed next month, will give details of the CBI’s probe into the tapes carrying the purported conversations of the Gujarat government officials discussing ways to save the case accused. These tapes have been provided by one of the accused Gujarat police officer to the agency.
“There are people in the conversation which are purportedly Gujarat government officials identified by some witnesses and accused during their questioning,” sources said. These tapes have been sent for forensic examination, they added.
The CBI is likely to use the conversations in the tapes, which have already been submitted to trial court in Ahmedabad in sealed covered, to give details of the conspiracy which led to the fake encounter. The CBI is working to get the antecedents of Johar and Rana and announced reward in J&K newspapers for information.

I want to begin with a little story that was told to me by a leading executive at Aptech. He was exercising in a gym with a lot of younger people.
