‘Cong for proxy rule in J’khand’
Former Jharkhand chief minister and BJP national secretary Arjun Munda on Wednesday alleged that the imposition of President’s Rule in his state was an attempt by the Congress to perpetrate its “proxy rule” there.
Mr Munda, who was here to participate in a day-long seminar on development tribals, told reporters after the seminar that the Congress had earlier installed an independent person in Jharkhand as CM to indirectly rule the state and now it had recommended for President’s Rule only to see that its agenda was executed. He ruled out that the BJP’s failed arrangement with the JMM on power sharing was a blunder.
“In politics, many equations and permutations take place according to the time of and situation. I don’t think the BJP was wrong in talking to JMM on power sharing,” he said.
