Will expose MP, cops, says Tara Choudary
Actress Tara Choudary, who faces allegations of running a brothel and was recently released from jail after 60 days in judicial custody, claimed that she had videos and recordings of an MP and several police officials who came to her ho-use.
She told reporters that there was a threat to her life as she was sitting on a mine of information that could expose an MP and police officials. “If I’m given protection, I will reveal those names,” she said.
Claiming to have been victimised by the police, she said she was in Bengaluru and Tirupati on the dates that she allegedly detained the girl here who lodged a complaint against her. It was a conspiracy by the police to extort money out of her, she said.
“In 2008, an MP, an MLA, an SP and a DSP were caught on my cellphone camera when they misbehaved with girls. I recorded their vulgar behaviour for my safety. There are SMSes sent by them to my mobile,” she said.
“I am ready for a narco analysis test and the same should be conducted against the cops as well,” Tara said.
“I am a victim, not an accused,” the actor clarified. “Some politicians, in-cluding an MP, have denied links with me. If there are no links, why are the calls made from the MP’s guest house and his residence? He spoke from his brother’s cellphone too.” Tara demanded that the CID probe the entire episode.
Meanwhile, the Banjara Hills police rejected as 'baseless' allegations against them that they had stripped Tara and taken photographs of her, which they were threatening to circulate on the internet if she revealed the names of the politicians and police officials.
