UKG kid molested, complain parents
A five-year-old UKG student was allegedly molested by two unidentified high school students in a private school at Madannapet. The girl’s parents have approached the police and gave an oral complaint on Wednesday. However, the police is yet to register a case. Madannapet Insp-ector K.N. Suryaprakash said the police was conducting an inquiry to make sure that it was a case of sexual abuse. According to the girl’s parents, residents of Bhanunagar, the incident occurred in school five days ago. As the kid had complained to her mother that two high school students had misbehaved with her, the parents complained to the school management. The management did not take any action as the culprits could not be identified. Four days later, the parents gave an oral complaint to the police.
Inspector Suryaprakash said that the police had conducted an inquiry and had approached the school management to find the culprits. “We conducted an identification parade in the school on Wednesday, but the kid couldn’t identify anyone,” he said. “The management informed us that some students had been absent on that day. So, we will be conducting one more identification parade. We are also not sure if the kid was sexually abused,” he added. The police said they would decide if a complaint could be registered after the inquiry.
