Test range to cost Rs 1,000 cr

DRDO DG V.K. Saraswat said the 260 acre land required for setting up a long-range missile launch and testing site at Machilipatnam would soon be acquired and the test range would come up in three years at a cost of Rs 1,000 crore.

An Advanced Material Centre for Armouries and a Hitech Electronic Warfare Range are the next things in line for AP he added.
