Techie ends life due to ‘depression’

P. Sandhya Mudhiray, a 30-year-old employee of Wipro in Bengaluru, ended her life at her mother’s residence in Domalguda in the city. She was found hanging on Tuesday morning.

According to police, Sandhya used to often visit her mother. She had come to Hyderabad on October 13 and had stayed back for Dasara.

Police said, on Monday, Sandhya’s mother Kamala Devi had gone out leaving Sandhya and her brother Sharvan Kumar at home.

Shravan, who works for a BPO firm returned from work on Tuesday to find the door locked from inside and his sister hanging from the ceiling. The family said Sandhya could have ended her life due to depression.

They said she never discussed any problems with them. Police has registered a case.
