TD: Jagan in trouble due to Tirumala row

There is a reason for the freezing of accounts of the YSR Congress leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, according to Telugu Desam leader Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu: he is receiving just deserts from the Lord Venkateswara for committing blasphemy within the precincts of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams when he flouted rules and did not sign the oath of belief in the Lord.

“Everyone has to respect the other’s religion and show respect to the deity. Jagan has landed in trouble for showing disrespect to the mighty Lord Venkateswara Swamy,” is Naidu’s interpretation of the turn of events, and his supporters should have maintained decorum at the temple. “YSR activists raised political slogans, which is banned. Jagan earned the wrath of Lord Venkateswara for showing disrespect,” he said. Referring to the freezing of accounts of Jagan’s media houses, he said that “The CBI’s probe is against ill-gotten wealth and not against a newspaper. It is incorrect to describe the CBI action as curtailment of freedom of the press.”
