Sagara Haaram, the Telangana March on September 30, will see T-activists occupy the Tank Bund-Necklace Road complex that rings Hussainsagar. The activists plan to stay put beside the lake mostly on Necklace Road, till the government takes a decision on Telangana.

Announcing the decision after a steering committee meeting, TJAC convenor Prof Kodandaram set September 29 as the deadline for the government and T-ministers to secure a positive decision on statehood. “Either you (ministers) ensure Telangana announcement by the Centre by September 29 or join us. It is because of your (ministers’) failure that we have to hold the march,” he said.
