Road rage on cop lands duo in jail
Two angry men picked the wrong victim to vent their road rage on and found themselves in a police lock-up late on Friday night. The duo allegedly shoved and punched CID superintendent of police M. Srinivas, after they were stuck behind his car at a traffic signal near KBR Park at around 9.30 pm. M. Parthasarathi Reddy, 31, of Malkajgiri, and Veerkumar, 34, of Alwal, said to be software engineers from HSBC, Banjara Hills, were arrested and remanded to custody. Speaking to this newspaper, Mr Srinivas said he and his family were going to a restaurant at Banjara Hills for dinner. The SP didn’t have a security detail with him as he was not on duty.
