Reward for three absconding men
The Mahankali police released photographs of the three accused in a Rs 4 crore cheating case here, and announced rewards for information leading to their arrest, as the men are absconding. The case against them was filed by the state-level distributor of Tata Steel. The three men were co-partners of the distributor firm, the Samrat Corporation, at Ranigunj, of which the partners were Sandeep Jain and Sumit Jain. The three accused are Raja Jain, resident of Panjagutta; Rohit Jain, resident of Banjara Hills; and Gyanchand Jain, resident of Banjara Hills.
Raja, Rohit and Gyanchand allegedly swindled `4 crore without the consent of Sandeep and Sumit from Standard Charted Bank in Mumbai and floated another company namely Solutions in the western metropolis. When Sumit and Sandeep came to know that they were “cheated,” they filed a petition at the Metropolitan Court in Secunderabad. The court, in turn, directed the Mahankali police in July last to investigate the case. However, so far the police couldn’t locate the accused.
