Raju’s son to be charged soon in Maytas case
The Crime Investigation Department (CID) will soon be filing a chargesheet against Satyam founder Ramalinga Raju’s son B. Rama Raju and six others in the Maytas Hill County case. Officials of the CID said that the chargesheet had been finalised and would soon be filed in court against the accused.
The department has alleged that Maytas Properties and Maytas Hill County Private Limited had diverted Rs 1,086 crore from the Hill County project at Bachupally to various subsidiary firms, which are owned by the family of Ramalinga Raju. Veeyes Investments, SNR and SRSR Holdings are some of the companies owned by the Raju family to which the Maytas funds had been allegedly diverted.
