Motorcyclist dies as bike skids on ORR

A 28-year-old man was killed in a bike accident on the Outer Ring Road at Narsingi on Saturday. The victim, K. Brahmaiah, an agricultural contractor from Pragaticherla in Guntur, was going to Medak when the incident took place. According to the police, Brahmaiah lost control over his bike as he was overspeeding and hit an iron pole on the divider on the Rakta Mysamma bridge in Narsingi.

Police said the victim’s brother was also accompanying him on another bike. “A seriously injured Brahmaiah was rushed to the nearest private hospital. For better treatment, he was later shifted to Gandhi hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries in the evening, said Narsingi police sub inspector M. Prabhakar Reddy. The victim’s body was handed over his relatives after postmortem.
